Today was full of driving. We left our campground in Buffalo, Wyoming around 9:30, climbed up to a little over 9000 ft., and then descended in to Cody. We had a little glitch because the campground where we had reservations mixed them up and couldn't get us in...but we found another just down the road. We set up camp in the heat of the day - It was about 99 degrees today. I know some of you may not have any sympathy because it sounds like it's pretty hot back home too. We went into Cody for supper and found a place called Bubba's Barbecue. Ben was a little apprehensive since Bubba was in the name, but we tried it... It was very good! After supper, we walked around town to a few different stores before calling it a night. As we got back to the campground, we saw the most gorgeous sunset! We had picked up some ice cream on the way home and started to dish it up. All of the sudden a huge dust storm blew in and it was crazy. We got a little worried for a minute or two but it passed quickly and we were fine. We don't have reservations in Yellowstone for another day so we will just stay here tomorrow. It should be a relaxing day... Lexy
