Today we were on the road by a little after 8:00am and arrived at the Grizzly RV campground in West Yellowstone around noon. The trip through Yellowstone was very pretty and full of geology and wildlife. It was fun to drive through the area and identify many of the features that remain from the formation of the region. Also, as we journeyed through the park we drove past a huge herd of buffalo and several elk. One of the bison was laying right next to the road and as we drove by Lexy excitedly said, "Ben drive slow, really slow, I'm serious!" ... She took several great shots. No matter how many times you see these animals it is exciting every time! Now we just need to see some moose and a grizzly bear and we will be set with our animal adventures! After we arrived at the campgrounds we set up and then drove to the visitors center and got a lot of sight seeing, hiking, and fishing information. When we got back I did some school work for my last class of the summer and then just relaxed. Tomorrow starts the next round of adventures!
Cool buffalo! You can come see a "Moose" at our house. Jenny
